The Zambian Golf Union has targeted a minimum of 3 events on the calendar which will attract World Amateur Ranking Points in 2023.
The move comes as part of the strategy to increase the level of competition for local events so that players are exposed to high levels of competition.
The events below will attract World Amateur Ranking (WAGR) points should all criteria be met when results are submitted:
- 18/19 March – Zambia Amateur Closed – Lusaka Golf Club
- 11 – 15 July – Zambia Amateur Open – Mufulira Golf Club
- 4 – 5 November – Champion of Champions
